I'm just curious as to know if cold water or hot water is better for your hair?

I think like lukewarm/cooler water. It says that on shampoo bottles but for someone else who answers I'd be curious to know a factual answer also.

Warm water is healthier for your hair & scalp, but cooler water does better with color treated hair

Cool water is better for your hair/skin. But I can't resist a hot shower haha.

I do both. I wash my hair in hot water (the hot water helps to really clean out all the product build up), but when I'm rinsing out my conditioner, I use very cold water, and it seems to help with the tangles and making my hair shinier/softer.

You want to wet your hair with warm water to open your pores, and then rinse with cold to close your pores.

Cold..as hot water strips your hair off it's natural oils.

Hot water opens the cuticle right at the root of your hair and hot water will strip your hair of natural oils so cold is best because it does the opposite and leaves your hair looking healthy and frizz free.
