I never tried that brand. But I really like the silk elements heat protectant and a lot of people swear by the one by Chi.

I prefer heat protecting creams vs serums or sprays because you use a whole lot less, it coats the hair more evenly and they're more hydrating. I find with most sprays they leave a residue in general.
