I like statement lips, so I go for Colors like Morange, Bronze Shimmer, Candy Yum Yum, an Viva Glam Nicki 2. just go to the store, they have all kinds of testers

When I was 11 I didn't experience lipstick lol... To each is own... But anyway maybe go for lighter colors as you are 11. I would recommend MAC's "Snob" it's a pretty light pink.
