I want to buy red lip stick but I have no idea what shade would be best with my skin tone, which is fair-medium.

I go buy seasons. If it is fall for you like it is for me. I go for deep burgundy reds. But, if it's summer, than I like a more vibrant red. Like a reddish orange. I'm blonde so sometimes I'm bias how red lipstick looks. But I usually base my shades on season. Also I suggest going to a makeup counter and trying shades on.
