Well I have spots! Only on my forehead about 6 big red angry spots and they hurt 😞, they are not whiteheads, why are they only on my forehead? Does this regime sound good for spot fighting 👊 lol, I'm using tea tree foaming wash day/night then followed by anti bac moisturiser then a lil more diffo moisturiser as my face feels tight, also clay mask a few times a week with salicylic acid and witch hazel, also st ives blemish scrub a few times a week, its getting me down now don't understand why the mad breakouts all of a sudden ðŸ˜

Have you tried toothpaste? I know I sound crazy now, but it works for me when I am dealing with big face demons! ;)

I think that you don't have to touch them, if these aren't whiteheads, they could pass themself. Sorry, but it seems to me that you use too much products which are pretty aggressive to your skin, it may make your skin produce more fat.

Yeah way too many harsh products. It may have something to do with either diet, stress or even just hormones. So try eating healthier and drinking more water, try and keep calm and relaxed. If you are really worried then see a dermatologist

Please don't use the toothpaste method... I remember months ago a girl posted that she applied toothpaste over a zit and she ended up with a burn like lesion on her face :/

Victoria, I used few times toothpaste and once get a burn too, guess it was too 'fresh', mean too much eucalyptus)))))))

I have just started that routine so its not that, yeh I does seem pretty harsh considering I do have fair sensitive skin, what do you suggest I use then? Or a new routine?
Oct 3, 2013
Diana J.
Emma, I can understand you, because my skin is also sensitive, and untill last winter I was using a lot of harsh products too. When I started using products for sensitive skin, they seemed to be so fat, but the skin just needs to adopt new routine (it can take few weeks). Now I use just a makeup remover, foam to wash and a cream, but only in the morning, because young skin is able to produce enough fat during the night. And a scrub 1-2 times a week, depending on how I feel my skin. I buy products from drugstore (doliva and natura siberica, they are pretty cheap about 10$ per item)

Not sure you'll find them in Usa and once I washed my face again with a foam for problem skin, it was horrible, I thoutht my skin was melting))))) Now my skin produce really less fat, of course it's not perfect, but much better.

If it's sensitive, I'd recommend simple's line. Not harsh at all.

Just putting it out there, toothpaste no longer has the ingredient used to reduce pimples. There's an article posted a few months ago on here that mentioned it.

Anti bac toothpastes may still help? I'm not going to be doing it anyways I have sensitive skin and sometimes toothpaste burns my mouth so no doubt do the same to my skin. Nd these bad boy spots are sore enough! ðŸ˜

Ya, try baking soda and peroxide. Mix it into a paste. The only thing tht works on my pimped is benzoyl peroxide treatments which I find hard to find. So when I run out and can't find more and I'm in a pinch I use the baking soda. Just make a paste and dab it on. Wait for about half an hour and then gently wash with warm water and follow with a spot treatment. I guess you can use the liquid in the Advil liquid gels but I remember one time one popped in my mouth and burned my throat the whole way down. It was painful so I'm not sure what that would do to skin...

I washes with tea tree washes followed by a light scrub by st. ives with salicylic acid then anti bac moisturising cream now going to sleep with anti ceptic cream. Lol have to try!
