I love the look of cat eye liner but I have an asymmetrical face & can't ever seem to get it to look right no matter what I do.
Do any of you have any tips on how to make it look more even?

I always aim the wing towards the tip of my brow... But if that will help you depends on how your brows look :p.

Well I tend to draw the wing as a continuation of my bottom lashline then fill in from there.

1. Cut a small slanted triangle in a index card or business card
2. Put it up to your eye
3. Fill in with liner for
4. Repeat

A pointed felt tip liquid liner always always gives me the perfect cat eye every time with just one swipe.

I've tried templates & tape. the problem is that my eyes themselves are uneven so even if I continue from my bottom lashes it still doesn't look right.
I guess I'm just not meant to wear eyeliner like that =[

I like pens way more, it actually took me about 5 years to get the cat eye look thay I thought looked perfect for my eyes (I have super small eyes) it just takes time a practice. sephora and nyx have the new cat eye liner that had a weird handle to give you the perfect cat eye and they're reasonably priced. I personally love the stila stay all day liquid liner because its a pen with a felt tip (which gives me more precision). how I teach it at my store is to start in the middle and make your wing then attach the front to the middle to make your small connecting liner

That just means you have to adjust the application to cater each individual eye. Nothing on us is exactly the same. We have to tailor it for our features. For example, my top lip is bigger than my bottom. When do lipstick, I conceal my top lip then I redraw it under the natural line to make it even. With an asymmetrical face:
- you can make one eye's liner a bit more round in the middle (if it's smaller than the other eye
-start wing the wing a little farer on the lash liner than the other (if one eye is shorter
-just little things like that to even it out

Try marking it lightly with pencil liner then use liquid, gel, or marker when you find the perfect cateye. you can also use a tape to guide yourself.
