So I wore acrylics for a year, and about 3 months ago I decided to take them off, and grow my natural nails back, well its been hell. all they keep doing is chipping an breaking, and splitting, it horrible. I have tried, Essie, allot of Sally Hanson, pink armor, etc. I'm looking for something not over like $15. or even home remedies. any help is welcomed, thank you so much!

Swiss makes pills called hair and nails.. They are amazing it also comes in a liquid form.. You can buy them from a drug store.. Or you can • For dry, brittle nails, rub petroleum jelly or a thick cream into your nails to hold moisture around and under your nails. If you do this at bedtime, slip a pair of thin cotton gloves on your hands before you to sleep.. Avoid nail polish remover with acetone.. I would avoid any nail polish for a few weeks the more your nails an breathe and can get sunlight the better.. And way healthy..

I've heard drinking milk helps because of the calcium which is supposed to help then grow. Also like Tara said you shouldn't wear nail polish for a while.
