I have redness on one side of my face only and I agree, it is very annoying..I tend to just put an extra layer of foundation on the areas that need it because it is a large area and would require too much concealer. green will counteract the redness by blend well and go over it with a concealer or foundation in your shade:-)

My best advice is to get yourself a color correcting concealer product in a green which will help to neutralize the red. Physicians Formula makes some great ones that I've had success with, but I lately I've been loving the NYX HD Photogenic Concealer in green.
Prep your skin as you normally would for your makeup, then with a small amount of corrector (you can always add more if you need it) and blend it on to the red area, you can use a brush or your finger whichever you prefer. The goal is to use just enough to knock down the red until it's close to your regular skin tone. Then I usually go over that with a very small amount of my regular concealer to eliminate any stray green tint that my be lingering and follow up with my foundation and powder as usual.

On the skincare side, I've personally had good luck with the Eucerine Redness Relief line up of products, but they are by no means the only ones out there. It's not a quick fix, but it can make a big difference over time.

Korres foundation comes in colors for skin w/ red undertones works great. Also PCA anti-redness serum works great but have to use daily and won't see results overnight but does work!
