I have this pallette and love it. Some colors (the reds and green) do stain lightly, but I find mos.

Oh my word yes it definitely does stain and I wanted to knock out the artist who used it on my lids and cheeks for a hair show.lol. I think if you used some sort of barrier (like a primer) then you can cancel out some of the staining issues. It took an oil cleanser to remove it all but it wasn't enough...especially on the cheek area. :(

(Darn computer pressed send! Sorry) but I find most creams in those color stain, so it's not just the mufe ones. That said, you can avoid the staining by applying eye primer, I love my lime crime one. I use this palette all the time, custom mixing lipsticks, cream blushes, gel eye liners and cream shadow. It's a lot of product for the price. And I do believe Sephora has a really good return policy so if you get it and hate it, you may be able to return it! Trust me tho, you will love it!

I have it and I love it. Makes creative looks so easy. And the colors you can use on your eyes, those few colors may just irritate them. I use them around my eyes (creases and stuff) and it doesn't irritate me. Mine I got from a friend in the UK and it says on the box to test them for a reaction first. I've never had it stain my skin, and I'm very pale so you would think if it stained it would stain mine. But I've used every color in large amounts and no staining with or without primer. I also don't ever notice it melt. It's the only palette I have that I can use without a primer and still have it last all day. I have quite oily skin too. But I guess it all depends on your skin. It's definitely worth it though, I've had mine for like 2 months now and I use it almost everyday.
