Chipped Nails :(

Nearly every time I paint my nails they start to chip the day after!! I don't know what I do wrong, I clean my nails then apply a clear base coat the colour then a top coat.

Sometimes the just chip but sometimes they peel !!

Help please with suggestions :) zz

It also depends heavily on your nail polish. Something like China Glaze or OPI will go a week or so without chipping. But lacquer is the way to go if you want the color to last for longer. Lacquers are found in salons and their formula is thicker.

Clean your nails with acetone. Then base coat immediately. Do one hand then the other. Make sure you cap the free edge with each coat you do. That should help.
