Can anyone recommend a medium to thick coverage foundation which is oil free and suitable for yellow undertones? Xx

Revlon Colorstay. There is one from Bobbi Brown that I used to use myself and I can't remember the exact name but it gave me beautiful coverage. Just tread carefully with that one as she changed the formula to include lavender and for me its a no go for my somewhat sensitive oily/combo skin.

A few options for full (or buildable) coverage foundations for oily skin are:
Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet Foundation (water based and long lasting with a very broad color range)
Bobbi Brown Oil Free Foundation (All of her foundations are for a neutral or golden undertone)
Cover FX Mineral Foundation (There are skincare ingredients that actually help reduce oil production and looks super natural on the skin)
Bare Minerals Matte Foundation (Also has skincare ingredients but not as full coverage as Cover FX).

Oohhhh thank you for this post. I was thinking to make a post on the same subject as you. Recently, I bought nars sheer glow ans urban decay naked foundation...I very likr them, the finish is sooooo flawless bit they make my skin very oily. I want to buy the revlon colorstay but I'm afraid to buy the wrong color. Sorry for my english...I'm a french canadian!

Dior air flash is amazing! I have super oily skin and it's the only thing I can wear. Try a good oil absorbing primer as well- Nars makes a good one.

I've tried bare minerals matte and unfortunately I still get oily after 2/3 hours. I have bought revlon colorstay aswell but the shade has not been so great... Difficult to find for very yellow based skin. Will check out all the recommendations though! Thankyou lovelies!! 😘 x

I spray it on to a foundation brush and then just paint it on lightly. It's amazing!

I found that kat von d stays the longest for my super oily skin. Its not that yellow in it so I mix it w/ my mac foundation to give it more yellowness to match my skin better. I'm still on search of a foundation that works for me w/ the best of both worlds.

Before putting on my foundation from cover girl... I use Milk Of Magnesia only on my tzone area. it works for me. it keeps the shine and oiliness at bay.
