I just got a haircut to get rid of split ends. So I'm wondering how to prevent them, I know I'll get them sooner or later but how to take better care of my hair so I won't have so much split ends like I used to have?

No heat, at least turn done the temperature if you use heat and always use heat protectant

Try to replace heat styles with heatless ones by twisting sections of somewhat damp hair (for example) and making little buns and pinning them to your head overnight. When you wake up unpin them and you should have pretty heatless curls. Try to save heat styling for special occasions and always use a heat protectant :) Try to not wash your hair everyday, as this strips it of its natural oils. Also try to do hair masks or deep conditioning every once in a while to nourish you hair and help repair any damage. And trim atleast every 2-3 months to get rid of split and brittle ends! :)

I personally use a brand called Pro Natural’s because they have this argan oil that I've been using on my hair for the last 2 months and its stopped frizz and split ends from bothering me again. Argan oil is just really beneficial for hair, you should use that to prevent split ends.
