Ok so I was thinking of going to the no.7 counter in boots so I watched a video about it and the lady on there tried it on her face with the little machine thing but surely shouldn't it be the neck.My neck and face are different colours and I've never found the perfect foundation colour so I'm really confused on what to do,I really do not like people touching my face, but if its going to match perfectly I should give it a try right? what do you girls think and is there any good beauty gurus out there who can explain it on youtube?

Can I use any of these to match or is there a correct way?

Your neck/ jawline because if your face is warm tone and your body is cool then your foundation won't look natural for example. But you will never exactly match perfectly , but if you buff in properly it will look good xx :)

Your neck, most people's faces are a different color than their necks and if you match your foundation to your face it'll look unnatural when compared to the rest of your body.

I've always been told by professional make up artists ( One who worked on celebrities before ) that your best bet is your chest, and to actually avoid your neck.

Your chest! Every makeup artist I've worked with during shows has preached this. A lot of times, your face is lighter than your body, and if you match your face, you're not fixing the problem!

I use my wrist
But that's just me but with the amount of people saying jawline I would go with that.

Chest. also put your jaw to your shoulder, they should match. neck is most likely paler than your face or chest.
