Put up framed pictures of beautiful places you want to go, you can put up a cork board and put reminders on there and a themed calendar

A light brown will be great with pink eccesories since its yoir fave.color I'm guessing) pink candels andpink bows around you curtains as well as pink frames if you decided to apply the pervious ideas suggested here :)
