I CANNOT find a foundation light enough for me that is in my price range. I would like to try Illumasque, but that's just a bit too rich for my tastes. I had planned on buying mac face and body in the white base to mix in with my current foundations, BUT if I'm not mistaken you have to be a pro to purchase (or they're discontinuing it) and on Ebay it's like $60 for the 50 ml! I also looked into Barry M's creme foundation in fct1, but was unable to find that via web as well. I'm seriously running out of ideas here. I have slightly dry skin, with a cool undertone and need medium or buildable coverage and up. ( Since I'm freckled and naturally red faced.) Any suggestions ladies? I tried maybelline fit me in 110, and that was a bit too dark. I have revlon colorstay creme in 110 Ivory, and that still looks a bit too dark, though headed in the right direction with the cool undertone. Don't mind the Lucy'do, I just needed a picture to show that my face is still a bit too dark.

Http://www.temptalia.com/foundation-matrix I'd maybe try this. The other thing is that if its really such an issue for you, maybe its worth it to splurge on a great foundation in the correct shade. Some things are worth doing correctly, you know? Just a thought. I'd try covergirl as well, and see if that's any better.

I use estee lauders double wear max full coverage in very light and mix it with loreals true match in porcelain to bring it up a couple of shades lighter. I'm super pale too so I know what your going thru. all pale foundations are super sheer which I hate! you can purchase mac pro cosmetics online or find a pro store they sell to the public :)

If you are still looking for a white to mix, check out Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, they make a white designed to mix with foundation to help achieve the correct shade!  :)

Bourjois and dainty doll are two makeup companies that both cater to pale skin.

Stargazer do loads of pale stuff, like, literally white. It's quite cheap too, and I mix their white one with my foundation to make it match my skin tone. It works really well. They also have a white pressed powder that- when applied minimally, looks good and lightens my foundation well!

I have that same problem with my light skin. I also tried maybelline fit me in 110 and that was too dark for me also. My skin's light with yellow undertones.

Honestly, it is almost impossible to find something light enough in a low price range, it is easier in a higher price and they aren't even that easy. Really, it is worth splurging, look into Kat Von D and UD Naked Foundation ($34-38). The price seems kind of high but both only take a tiny bit, have really light colors, and feel good.

I agree with Jaqueline, with the True Match. I've gotten some color naturally over the last year (oops!) but I would use it in N2 and it was perfect for my super paleness, so N1 should work!

Thank you girls! I'm definitely not opposed to splurging at all, so I'm extremely happy with the suggestions you gave me. I just have to know what I'm looking for before I head to the mall, (which is an hour and a half away! ):
And @Michelle L, I really enjoy being pale. Even though it's a bit difficult sometimes. Tanning is more work, money, and skin damage than I'm willing to go through, thanks though.

You don't have to be a pro to purchase face and body foundation! They even sell a small bottle of it at the regular mac counters now, although I'm not sure if they carry the white one there. If you have a freestanding MAC store or Pro store near by I would try there for the white color :)

I'm not quite as fair as you are as a 110 in maybelline fit me is perfect for me.. but I currently use the kat von d lock it foundation and they have even lighter shades than I wear! I use both the powder and liquid. I don't wear liquid foundation very often, but I bought my bottle about 5-6 months ago and I still have more than half of the bottle left, so you get a lot of product for the price ($34). They also carry a variety of undertones(pink, yellow, beige, warm beige, pink beige, and yellow beige) which was really helpful in matching my shade!

I also recommend the "foundation matrix" that Hannah posted a link to =)
