I was thinking of dying the underneath layer of my hair blue, but without using bleach. I need to know, what brand would be the best for dying my hair semi permanently? I have light brown hair, and can you also tell me what type of blue for example a light blue medium blue or dark blue, it would be great for a specific type of blue.

It is hard to say without seeing your hair but since you said your hair is light brown I would suggest a dark blue like Pravana Chromasilk Vivids Collection in "Blue". It should last about 6 weeks.

I agree... Dark blue... Because without either bleaching or using a permanent color, a light blue wouldn't look light blue on you. You would need to be nearly blonde to get results like that. Maybe medium blue, but without seeing your hair, I'm not sure how well that would show up either. Chi Chromashine's blue is intense, will fade out within a month, and will give you the most intense results for your hair level/color.
