I definitely think you should go with no bangs, just some short layers to frame your face.

You'll probably need tto add some layers on your hair, its your choice, but if your happy with your hair length and style, either layer your bangs to give some texture to your hair and dimension to your face, or have your part in the middle to give your face a longer look.
