So the reputation is great, it's expensive... Does it even work that much better than regular brands? Experience and opinions are appreciated.

I just received my naked palette 2 this morning and it's so good I love it. I'm not sure about the others but this ones really great. You don't need to use a lot as it's really pigmented so worth it I think.

It is a high quality palette and I do like my NAKED palette, but I will say that since I've gotten my Lorac Pro Palette I don't touch my NAKED palette as much. The LP is cheaper, comes with more color options making it more versatile, and is just as (and more with some colors), pigmented.

1 is the more natural colors right?

No, Naked 1 fits warm undertones better, Naked 2 fits cool undertones better. But I don't use my Naked palette as much as I thought I would, because they're basically all shimmer shades. I would go for the Lorac Pro Palette. (:

Urban Decay is great quality, lovely texture and pigment, they are a brand that I always recommend to people. But honestly, with the naked palettes, due to nudes being so in right now and easy to find, I would go with something else, I know there are similar (some even better color wise in my opinion) at cheaper prices. I have seen people say the Lorac (I think that is the name) palette, I have theBalm Nude Tude palette which I like. There are others.

^Erin is right.
I think the naked pallet is a good pallet.. for the number of shadows I get for $49 its not bad. but it depends on your skin tone.. Brown skin girls aren't going to get as much use out if the a woman with more fair skin tone. the colors blend out. lorac pro definitely had a more versatile color selection.

Honestly, no. I have it, and I only really use two colors (Naked and Buck, two light brown matte shades) The girl at Sephora was pushing me to buy the Lorac Pro palette instead, but I went with Naked because of the "Cult" following. I do have the Naked Basics though, which is six matte eyeshadows. I use that palette every single day. If I were you, get the Lorac Pro Palette and if you can afford both, the Naked Basics ($27.)

I have naked 1 and for the price and the amount of colours you get including an urban decay eye brush it's defiantly worth it.
