Hey girls I was wondering if any of you waxed or shaved your bikini lines. I've always shaved but I can never get a perfect shave, there's always either stubble or nicks/razor burn. Is waxing a lot better? Does it hurt and is it easy to do at home?

Yes waxin is a lot better first time will hurt but itz worth the pain becuz the hairs won't grow so fast n they grow thinner...just get it done at a.salon.

I'd highly suggest European wax center, they are amazing, girls are very friendly, and they actually use an ingrown hair serum on you while youre there to sooth your skin :) they are wonderful!

Of course, waxing have advantages, but I've red that it makes you lose the sensibility in time... personally I could say that when I shave my skin looks much better then after waxing, just have to know how to do it right)

Amanda, I think not the products are the most important, but the order of things you do... it may be strange for someone, but for me works:
1. choose a good razor, better for men cause they shave much better, gilette for example(sorry, I don't know what razors are in Usa)
2. buy also a body scrub, or like me buy a special exfoliating glove with natural fibres-must be in every supermarket
3. take shower about 10minutes, it helps to open the pores
4. then apply shower gel, better a creamy one, dove or smth, on the glove and massage the skin you want to shave... it helps to prevent ingrown hair, also it lifts hair so that the razor can cut them closer to roots...
5. then you can apply foam, or again shower cream and shave against growing direction, better one time fir avoiding irritation
6. rinse, apply moisturizing cream on wet skin
sorry, I've described the process instead telling you brands, I just don't live in usa and don't know if you could find there the ptodfucts I use...
hope my answer was useful)

^^^ I would never recommend waxing at home, its very difficult to do and isn't worth the time or effort trying to do it yourself
