Unless you want your hair to turn green or orange (or worse: your hair falls out) I wouldn't do it at home.. please go to a hairsalon.

I'd advise you to go to a hairdresser, too. Blonde, especially light blonde coloration is best done by a pro. Plant colorations, like Henna, can be done easily at home, but I wouldn't advise it with blonde, as the chance of a desaster happening (see Maxime's comment) is pretty high.

If you decide to try, have them do a heavy highlight. That's what they did to fix mine and while it takes a while, it's much less damaging and allows you to decide how blonde your want to go! :-)

I've gone from black to blonde in less than a month and my hair is fine. I used bleach and let my hair breath for a few days- a week before I bleached again and when I thought it was a light enough blonde I toned it until it was all even, waited until its natural oils returned and used a sheartzkopft l1++ dye to make it the white that I wanted then just toned, toned, toned. ( I'm not a professional but I've had experience going blue/black to platinum/white more than once) :)

If you want to try it yourself get the oops color and that it let that get out the black and then try blonde.
