Okay, everytime I try to apply my makeup, you can see my skin is dry. It only happens when I apply makeup, without it, my skin looks completely fine!
I've tried so many lotions and face scrubs but they still don't do anything! Its been going on for weeks now!
Does anyone know any good home remedies to get rid if this or any suggestions on what I should do?
Thank you! x

Yeah it is really great I deal with the same thing and after I take a shower in the morning and night I apply it and it smoothes out my skin and makes it really soft :)

You can try to apply a primer on your face before applying the makeup or a lotion than a primer either or , or both are fine!

For concealer I recommend Benefits fake up! I have dry skin and I always use that on my dry patches:) it's specifically made for dry skin! For foundation try an oil based one!!8 love the garnier skin Renew bb cream because its kinda "greasy" but defiantly counteracts my dryness! For powder try a mineral one, they usually not as matte focused!
Also, use a moisturizer meant for night time as they're more moisturizing, and give your skin at least 5 minutes to absorb it before putting on makeup

Use a moisturiser that is specific to dry and extremely dry skin. also a foundation that is specific to dry skin will make all the difference.
Not every foundation will work for every skin type. Try Clinique's BB cream, its good stuff if you're dry and flakey.

I've noticed only my chin getting super dry after cleansing and application of my serum. I just apply a dab of either grapeseed oil or coconut oil and wham bam no dry skin and I go forward with my makeup application (which is either a bb cream or my Giorgio Armani Maestro foundation).

Using egg white and applying it with a cotton swab Totaly helps! It's what I always do. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Your skin will feel very tight for a while.

You need to moisturize before applying your makeup. Put something a little heavier on the dry patches.

Vichy aqualia 48h moisturizer is AMAZING. It's like $40 where I am but it's so worth it for dry skin. Super nourishing, doesn't make me break out, makes my skin feel crazy soft and smooth. Also try benefits Fake Up concealer it's really hydrating. I broke out on my super dry chin and it covered and moisturizer it so well. x

Also mix coconut oil and brown sugar for weekly scrubbing and baking soda with water every day, which also helps with acne.
