I've tried multiple concealers and foundations and not even tattoo concealer will cover them completely. the most liberating thing for me has been to have no shame and not hide them. I'm sure people have seen them but no one has ever said anything. now that you're older people are a lot more polite and understanding.

In my opinion, don't hide them. We all have scars and they are reminders of how even through our weakest moments, we found strength enough to continue and heal...your story can save lives. You are beautiful!!

To heal the scars, use mederma and coconut oil, let the Mederma seep into the skin and dry and then apply coconut oil. Do this 2-3 times a day. The problem with using natural products to heal them is that they are only work well on very new scars, they don't do much for old scars. The combination I told you should work wonders. I swear by this stuff it heals scars very fast.
To cover the scars try Kat Von D concealer.

In Wal-Mart you can find Hard Candy's Glamoflauge (sp?) concealer and it helps conceal tattoos so it might help you!

Let it heal first :/ adding makeup will only make it look brown or purple. Cover it with a sleeve from a sporting goods store.?

I will probably opt to try dermablend.

Good for you for quitting. I'm in remission. I'd suggest scar creams. Don't put a lot of makeup on it.

Thank you all for everything... Still looking and hoping for better make up products. Mederma never helped.
