I've personally had relaxer since I was younger and I regret it, your hair isnt the same after and it is very damaging. Embrace your curly hair and try out way that works with you that helps you do you hair straight but relaxer isnt the best option to go.

Do a full consultation with a hair stylist, they can determine whether or not it would compromise the integrity of your hair, and if your lifestyle and upkeep routine would mesh well with a chemical process like a perm.

I've had them before and I didn't have to keep getting one every 4 to 6 months.
