Mac is a very good brand but not cheap. Anyway I think it's better to start from the beginning with good products

BH Cosmetics and ELF are cheap.
But you may as well start off buying really good stuff. EcoTools has AMAZING brushes. Urban Decay and Too Faced have great eye shadow palettes. Clinique has some of the most amazing foundation lines, for just about every skin type and skin concern. If you want extensions try Sally's.
