I'm in the same boat as you Mychelle! I had a bad salon experience (about 2 years ago) and JUST now I am starting to get comfortable wearing my natural hair without extensions. The front of my hair and bangs are between my chin and shoulders and the back of my hair is actually way past my shoulders... but I kept getting my extensions cut and blended into my hair so its all different lengths and looks weird!

I've recently been french braiding my bangs/the front of my hair (since that's my problem area) and just letting the longer hair in back just down and natural. That way I never have to use heat (sooo much healthier than heat styling my hair with extensions everyday).

Natalie^ ah finally someone who knows my pain! my extensions are just such a pain and are time consuming to put in.I just wanna feel free of them haha

Definitely! I mean, I can put them in my hair very quickly... but blending them and styling them with my hair is the time consuming part and I know its just damaging my hair even more =(

I've been seeing so many short and medium hair styles in trend for fall and upcoming seasons, so I'm excited! =)
