I've tried a lot of different cleansers, drugstore and high-end. I usually find that most of the drugstore options leave my face completely dried out (because it seems like nearly everything is geared towards acne-prone skin). If you guys have any suggestions, I'd love to hear!

The Aveeno Foaming Cleanser is AMAZING! I also have combination skin and this cleanser is so gentle and not drying at all.

The ultra-calming or clear complexion one?

Cetaphil has a cleanser I use that's supposed to be "hydrating", and it really is. I'd recommend that with a great moisturizer.

Lacey;
I think I've tried the Cetaphil cleanser before :c it dried my face out...but perhaps the moisturizer I was using at the time wasn't good enough.
Kimberly;
I've heard a lot about the CeraVe...I'll have to look into it. I'm interested in it and the Aveeno, I just need to know which one is the better one (the ultra-calming or clear complexion lol.)

Seconding CeraVe...its probably one of the best drugstore skincare brands out there. You could use their hydrating cleanser which is for normal to dry skin and shouldn't dry your face out at all (they also have a foaming one which I haven't found to be drying either). =)

Hms! I'll have to give all these a try. I was just at Target and picked up the Burts Bees Citrus Face Scrub. I wanted to pick up the Aveeno cleanser too but I wasn't sure which to get xD. I also picked up the CeraVe Pm moisturizing lotion.

I've never been able to find a really great drugstore cleanser for combo skin. I use the Boscia black cleanser. It is magic.

Ohh, I think I've tried the Boscia black gel , their moisturizer. I really enjoyed it.

I broke down and bought the cleanser, mask, and moisturizer. It changed my skin. I was broken out really badly, the worst it had ever been. I also would get dried out really easily, my skin was crazy, haha. I have had the most amazing skin since using this stuff. I switch stuff up with some Lush products (Coalface and Enzymion). But, seriously, check out the Boscia cleanser. It heats up on contact, which helps to open up the pores. I also use this with my Clarisonic, but used it for about 2 months without. Enzymion by Lush is an amazing moisturizer if you're looking, as well.

I have combination skin too, a little on the oilier side during summer, but I use Purpose gentle cleansing wash. It's a super gentle gel cleanser that get's your face nice and clean but doesn't strip it of necessary oils. It's really no frills, nothing flashy, just cleans the skin without stripping it. It's not strong enough to get rid of heavy makeup, but it's great for cleansing in the morning.

For my cleanser I use the Biorè ice cleanser. And for moisturizer i use the Garniér gel moisturizer in the pot. They're good dupes for the Murad cleanser and the Proactiv green tea moisturizer. Obviously not QUITE that calliber, but i'm quite happy with them.
