I just buy plastic storage bins from Walmart and I can hold about 40-50 in each one.

I made my own shelf with strips of trim from the hardware store, since they're the perfect width for a polish bottle to sit on

I made the one on the left (holds about 125 bottles) from about $20 worth of wood, some hot glue and some finishing nails. (my friend made me the purple and black one on the right)
