Hi All! So I'm in need of help with my face routine, makeup wise. I use Mac Fix Fluid Foundation, and some days I'll use the Powder Plus Foundation. Also, I use the concealer too! So my problem is.. I work in a company, next to an oven, and it gets reeaallly hot in there. Within an hour, my face is completed laminated.. I look so shiny or oily! and I have bad acne scars also.. those tend to show even more. It seems like my face is just melting OFF! + at the end of the day, when I leave work.. Ill sit in the car and look into my mirror.. and my face is like.. ORANGE. I'm in the color NC35, I don't know if that is too dark for me. I only got that color because of FASHIONISTA804, her face seems waaaay white. I have the same skin color as her, but it always turns out orangey at the end of the day. Any help would be much appreciated!!
P.s. I use Cetaphil as a moisturizer, since the lotion is so thick.. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

HI, I use to also wear mac in nc35 and it as well use to melt off my face and make me break out.. so I gave something else a try... Covergirl outlast 3-1 (shade 857) , I usually spray some mac mineralize before and after I apply makeup and my makeup seems to last pretty long in this hot summer...btw I also use to use cetaphil to cleanse my face but I felt it made my face to oily so now I clarisonic once a day with peter thomas roth anti aging cleansing gel...good luck hun.

Being that you work around heat I'd advise you to stay away from oil based foundations such as mac because the heat is only going to help it oxidize faster (which is the reaaon your face looks orange). I'd say stick to more powder based foundations or just do spot control on your blemishes. also what kind of moisturizer and primer do you use hun? do you typically have oily skin?

Juat saw your ps... try using an oil free moiaturizer as cetaphil is known for locking in moisture.

@Arait - I use Cetaphil, and Mirabella for moisturizer.
