Will chalking my hair damage it?

I want to chalk my hair on the tips but I don't know if it will damage my hair! And can you also comment nice colors that will look good in my hair.. I have light brown hair.

It won't damage your hair it doesn't have any strong acids or chemicals In it so that's y its an alternative to dye.
