Make sure you don't have split ends. Get a cut every 6-8 weeks to make sure.

Cutting the hair will not make it grow any faster, but it will help minimize the look of split ends while you grow it out.

Yes it can still grow, but it might look damaged. You can prevent split ends by not using heat and taking good care of your hair. I haven't cut my hair in over a year and I don't have split ends. It all depends on how you care for your hair.

Split ends will continue to grow up the shaft of hair making it hard to have longer hair because to get rid of the split ends you have to cut it short.

Don't brush your hair in the shower wet hair falls out easier.
