I'm thinking of getting my belly button pierced I've always wanted to get it done but I'm always afraid!! I hate needles! Has anyone gotten theirs? Did it hurt? Any comments?

I have mine. It didnt hurt that bad. I've had it for about 10 years now and I've never had a problem with it. I can see the problem with midrise jeans though. Some good points to consider.

I had it! And then a year later, it began to migrate so I had to take it off. And now I have an ugly scarring :( completely regret it, but it's alright! The pain wasn't so bad. Healing process was a pain, but other than that, it was fun while it lasted! Haha.

I got mine about 2 years ago and it hurted a little not so bad it's something quick. & the healing process didn't take long.

If you have your ears pierced then your belly won't faze you at all! I have mine I've had it since 16 22 now. Never had problems.

It hurts abiit but its manageable. Just make sure you don't havea tendency to lie/sleep on your stomach. I also recommend getting it in the colder months so that by the time summer rolls around its all healed.
I was scared to get mine but I went to a highly rated tattoo place (adrenaline in toronto) and the guy was amazing, he completely stopped me from having a panic attack! If you're worried go with a good friend, or better yet go with a good friend who already has hers done!

I got it done 5 years ago, its just a tiny second of pain that is definitely worth it. I have had experiences in my life that were far more painfull :P.

Everyone pain level is different.mines I got down when I was 17 it didn't hurt. I can take pain lol.but you have to experience it.go for it!

My hurt like hell!! I hate needles too I cried a little and almost passed out. The guy gave me candy. I have no problem with high waisted pants and shorts but that may depend on where your belly button is. I used Clair's ear solution and it healed great. I've had for about a year and a half now. Honestly if mine closed up or anything and I had to get it redone. I probably wouldn't. Lol. But the belly button rings are fun! And you can make your own dangly ones :) I have a tattoo and my ears pierced twice and the belly button was the worse one as far as pain. Lol.

The pain is part of the process! If you want it bad enough you'll go for it! ;) I got mine done about 2 months ago (I'm 19) and I love it!! The pain was honestly not bad. It did hurt but that's to be expected with any piercing a or tattoos
