I take lysine tablets twice a day abd use this as an ointment. Hope it helps!

Mookey right but usually people get cold sores and canker sores mixed up. Also a cold sore herpes is not the same as genital herpes. A canker sore is different than a cold sore it's not causes by herpes.

Its many different forms of herpes. Cold sores are a form of herpes, but so are chicken pox and shingles. Usually you get cold sores after a cold, flu, or fever etc. Cold sores are not associated with genital herpes.

If you have a cold sore, then you have herpes. It's NOT genital herpes, and you did NOT get it from having sex, but you still have herpes.

Anyways, I always use Chapstick and I like abreva, it makes them go away fast.
Just be sure to sanitize your chapsticks/lipsticks. If you don't sanitize then the cold sores will just keep coming back.
