So I'm 17, and have a lot of acne scarring on my cheeks and chin due to the pimple popping I did the past few years. The scars make me wanna put on foundation before I step out anywhere in public but I want to let my skin breathe more since I am only 17. Do you guys know of any inexpensive products or home remedies that work well to reduce the scarring? Also, does chemical peeling work or is it not worth it at this age? Thanks!

I was in ULTA yesterday picking up a product from this line called Alpha Hydrox. They have an affordable glycolic serum that will definitely address the situation you're in as it will fade those scars plus even out your skintone since its a topical exfoiator. I've used glycolic serums in the past to fade mine and it did an awesome job. Used at night you apply to dry skin, wait a few minutes and then apply a non-active moisturizer. Sunscreen usage is a must for daytime so you don't unwind your progress. If you go to ULTA's website you should be able to pull up a $3.50 off coupon which you could use towards the purchase of this product. They also have a gel version that looks really promising as well.
