I need serious help with my acne. I have litterally tried everything. I've gone to the dermatologist and they gave me creams and I used them for about six months and all they did was make my skin dry and flakey andddd still have acne. so I stopped using that,I went to the dermatologist again and I was prescribed birth control. it actually really helped my skin but made me extremely sick feeling all the time. so its been about a year since all that and all I've been doing is trying out different products, they either do absolutely nothing, make it worse or if they do work its only for about a month. I use sensitive skin non comedgenic make up also. I only drink water. and tons of it and I have a healthy diet. someone pleaseee help me. its driving me crazy.

First of all... the dermatologists creams had something probably called benzoyl peroxide. it is good for zits but it dries out your skin. I would use something that doesn't have any of that because it seems that your skin reacts very sensitively. buy products with short ingredients lists so your skin won't feel as irritated. and remember... don't touch your face. your skin has oils in it so if you scrub your face use a scrubber or a rotating brush so that you don't just spread oils onto your skin. hope I helped!:)

I used to take acnease supplement and my face cleared up pretty well and it seemed to keep the acne away or not nearly as bad as it used to. but if you are looking for topical stuff then try the Burt's bees acne line it is literally the best thing I have everrrr put on my skin. and it's all natural stuff so it won't ruin your skin for the future! 😊 hope this helped!

I recommend trying out the oil cleansing method. It works super duper well. Pretty much what you would do is mix 3 parts castor oil and 1 part olive oil, then at night just pour a little bit into your palms and massage it into your skin. After that you'd run water over a towel until it's hot enough to steam your skin but not burn it, then just lay it over your face until it cools. Then just gently rub away the excess oil with the towel, and you're good! It sounds like a lot of work, but it really only takes a couple minutes.
Another thing to think about is that you're following a proper skin care regimen to begin with! Make sure you wash your face in the morning and again at night. And moisturize. Don't skip out on that. Get a good exfoliant and use it 2-3 times in a week. The St. Ives Apricot Scrub is amazing, and cheap. Face masks are also really good to be used 2-3 times a week, and the Freeman masks work really well for me. It's a lot of trial and error to find out what works for you, but you'll get it eventually!
Getting good skin is work, keep at it, girl!
