I'd like to become a professional make up artist.anyone know where I can go to school for just skin care and makeup, in Suffolk county new York? My ultimate goal is up apply makeup to the deceased, and I found classes for that, but need to certify in makeup and skin care first..thanks for the help.

Definitely try Googling it! PS...I grew up in Northport / Huntington and then moved to Bethpage but now I'm in Denver, small world!

Hi Kristi! I don't know any makeup schools in Suffolk, but in Manhattan there are definitely makeup schools! We have one that is a 4-week course. Hope that helps! :)

Skin care and make up certification is the same thing as esthetician school.
