Exfoliating will only rub off dead skin cells on your lips and make your lips soft.
If anything they'll turn redder because you rubbed them.

I use fresh brand sugar lip polish, and find a good Chapstick with NO petroleum in it!! Petroleum does not add moisture, it will prevent moisture loss but can not be penetrated into the skin. I love badger brand cocco butter lip balms, they are all natural and contain no petroleum or other nasty chemicals, and they work really well. Burt's bees contains menthol which can be drying to the lips, so avoid menthol as well.

First vaseline than put a little bit lipstick on your finger and do it on your lips try it it works (my english sucks)
