I've been wanting to dye my hair a light red for a while. I have darker brown hair. Yesterday I bought Garnier R3- Light Intense Auburn. My hair did not turn out as bright as I intended. What can I do to lighten it? I don't want to bleach.
I don't want crazy light red, just a nice summery red. lol

I've used the garnier hair dyes in the past & they never really worked out for me either. Days after dying it the color would start washing off & they just wouldn't be worth it. If your trying to go lighter I would recommend waiting to see if the color washes off after a couple days or buying a lighting shampoo or spray. Goodluck!
