My freckles are spreading from just my nose to my cheeks and forehead. Now that I've been getting sun they are getting really dark and I was wondering if anyone has any tricks or foundation suggestions to help cover them up :)

Why not show them off? IMO, freckles are a feature, not something to hide!

Freckles are so adorable, I've always wanted them, but never get them. You probably look cute with them.

Number one tip, keep up your SPF and keep your face out of the sun with a hat. Nothing particularly glamorous, unless you're into fabulous floppy hats.. LOL.
For those that want them covered, I've had good luck applying the usual foundation/tinted moisturizer and then going over the freckles with a heavier concealer using a short, dense buffing brush. You get improved coverage without making the entire face 'heavy'.

Thanks so much for everyone's answers. I've actually had a lot of people tell me that my freckles look good recently. I've just always been really self conscience about it but I guess I shouldn't be :)

I'm super freckly myself. And I do like my freckles and people do seem to think they're cute and are jealous they don't have them, but it doesn't mean I want them all the time. It's like the straight hair curly hair thing. People always want what they don't have. I agree on keeping up with your SPF so they don't get darker. I'm very fair so if I get the littlest bit of sun mine seem to instantaneously darken. As for covering them I've never managed to get a fully flawless coverage but I've found the Revlon Colorstay foundation applied with a buffing brush gives pretty good coverage. Unless you have an airbrushing machine (which I do) but even then you have to put on multiple layers. Sadly I think us freckly people shall never have the porcelain skin we dream of.

I LOVE freckles on people, especially when I'm doing their makeup because they don't need much foundation. It's a lovely feature and I wish I had freckles.

If you want to get rid of your freckles (permanent like); an age old remedy is soaking the skin in buttermilk, and I think goats milks will do the same. I feel your pain, I have freckles and have always hated them no matter how cute people tell me they are. I find using mineral foundations (both liquid and powder) helps to cover better? Good luck chick

Yeah it does sound like a good trick, but I only have freckles on my face not over my whole body...

To cover up freckles you have to try these remedies.
• One of the very effective of all the home remedies for freckles involves lemon juice. Directly applying lemon juice on the affected skin will fade the freckles, so that they will not be visible.
• Before going to bed, apply castor oil on the freckles and wash it off the next day morning. You can also apply vitamin E oil instead of castor oil.
• You can also apply some oatmeal mixed with vinegar on the freckles and remove it after 20 minutes.
