Right sooo I know its sound stupid but I read and hear everywhere that you should only wash your hair about once or twice a week? To maintain those oils and stuff, But what about the people that work out? I get some odd responses when I say that I wash my hair most days as I couldn't just leave a sweaty head! Please help.

I would wash your hair everyday, thats what I do! I mean really, whos going to walk around with sweaty oily nasty three day hair? yeah you can use the dry shampoo stuff but it just feels nicer to wash it.

Jennifer I'm new to dry shampoos il have to give it a go after a workout. Shannon that's so true, I just seem to get odd responses when I say yeah I wash my hair everyday. But some people leave it for about a week! I just couldn't do that haha.

Shannon after an initial, short period of time your hair does not get greasy at all when you skip some days. It's MUCH better for your hair. I was of the same opinion as you but now I wash it every 3 days and it's never been so smooth or healthy looking before.
Like suggested dry shampoo works wonders. Brands like Batiste and Tresemme have some really good ones.

Dry shampoos are good. also, you could try ditching your shampoo for some of your washes. just use a good cleansing conditioner (l'oreal makes a great one). it won't totally strip your hair the way a normal shampoo would.

In my opinion it just depends on your hair type. if your hair get greasy after a day just wash it the point of not washing your hair is so it retains the natural oils so if you don't really have dry hair or anything I don't really see the point in not washing it.

I agree with Kennedy it depends on the person and their hair type. Like me for instance my hair is really dry so I wash it about every other day. The truth is with my hair my second day hair is always so much better. Sometimes I leave it a little longer without washing it. So by the 3rd day when I work out I can wash my hair n that works perfect for me ^_^

Even though I only shampoo my hair a couple times a week, I shower and get my hair wet every single day... sometimes I just put conditioner in it, other times I use a "cleansing conditioner" if I need to clean myself but not necessarily shampoo my hair.
