Lemon Juice In Hair - Does It Need Sun?

Hi girls!
So, I got some stribs in my hair that is darker then the rest, and I heard slot of you used lommen juice to lighten it slightly!

My quistion is, do I need to be in the sun for the lemon juice to work??

Then when you get back in, use a claryfying shampoo and then condition. Just to make sure, the lemon juice is permanent until your hair grows it out. I thought it wasn't permanent at first so now I'm trying to grow my hair out fast so that I can have dirty blonde in the winter. It works really good though(: you can also try John Frieda's to blonder set.

Thanks Katherine! I am sort of dirty blond, but I have some red/brown stribs in my hair that I really want to get a little lighter!
I was hoping I could do it inside tonight while watching a movie or something!

I'm not sure what a claryfying shampoo is?

And how long do I let it sit in my hair?
