A summer a few years back I put a TON or sun-in in my hair. Surprisingly it gave my hair a gorgeous auburn look but it was still dark. I don't want to put that product in again haha. Does anyone know of a way to make it a little lighter without dyes/ any harsh chemicals.

I'm pretty sure if you put lemon juice in your hair and lie in the sun it will make your hair lighter, I've never tried it though.

I've never used it but I heard adding peroxide helps not sure if you do equal parts water in spray bottle.

There's this lighter spray by John Frieda in a yellow bottle about $14 , it gradually lightens the hair, it works, I use it, could give it a go?
