Your hair goes through stages. Growing phase, transition phase and shedding phase. Right now your probably at the transition phase soo don't worry your hair will grow.

Sometimes, weather you do all the eating healthy , including protein, calcium, ect. ect, there are stages of your hair like Jackie A. Said, but genetics do have to do with your hair/nail growth. Also, some people's hair doesn't grow past a certain point, while others can grown to the floor and more.
