Hey, I heard braiding hair is good for growth and for keeping split ends away. But I also heard that it makes hair weak when taking braids out. Can someone clear this up for me? Thanks!! :D.

It's bad when you do the braid wrong or when your hair is tangly when you braid it. It's bad when you braid it wrong because it makes tangles which lead to split ends. Hope I helped xx

It depends on the braids you get and how tight they braid.

I sleep with my hair in braids all the time. My hair doesn't curl with heat so that's the only way!

Braids help protect your hair, its only bad if you get them too tight and it causes your hair to break off and become fragile.

I wouldn't recommend sleeping with wet braids or braiding when wet. I always loosely braid my hair before I sleep (it's in a low loose braid right now) so it doesn't get pulled or tangled while I sleep. I always brush my hair before I wash it in the morning then blow dry it half way on low and let the rest air dry, then brush it once it's completely dry. I also use sulfate free shampoo. my hair is 20 inches long and no split ends.
