What's a good brand of purple hair dye that won't fade fast? I don't wanna bleach my hair first and I also don't want a semi permanent but if that's going to last longer and come out looking better then I'll consider it.

First of all it depends what color your hair is right now:3 if your on the darker side of hair color you might wannah try bleaching...ikk its badd but for the color purple it takes ALOT of steps and times:0.

The only reason I don't really wanna bleach it is cuz once the color starts to fade I feel like its going to look weird so I'll have to keep up with it.

At Sally's Beauty Supply try a bran called Ion! Semi permanent colors! I've never tried them but it has good reviews and great color choices and I think I'm going to do that too with this brand!

The brand at sallys called 'n rage has a nice purple and you don't need to bleach it unless you want a very vibrant purple. this color is a demi permanent and it lasted me for a few months, at first it is a dark purple but it fades nicely! (;

Special Effects is really the best! If not Jerome Russell's Punky Colors is pretty good. Manic Panic fades pretty quickly, Ion Color Brilliance Brights are JUNK so I wouldn't use those either. If you can get your hands on Pravana's Chromasilk line, they're amazing!
