I suggest tweezing the hairs. They won't grow back as quickly as they would if you shave.

I shave it and it takes about a week or more to grow back so its not too often.

It's a myth that shaving makes hair grow back darker and thicker. Shaving just blunts the hair ends and makes it feel rough.
They make bleach for facial hair you could use, but honestly waxing it doesn't even hurt as much as getting your eyebrows waxed. Mine is blonde, but the hair around my belly button is kinda long for some reason so I wax it and it seriously doesn't hurt at all. It doesn't even feel like a pinch. No pain at all.

Please do NOT shave. Especially if your hair grows back fast...imagine you went swimming or your shirt happened to move up and you forgot to have your belly :( You can nair it? After using nair, less hair starts to grow back in the area you used it in. That's a plus! :D just be careful to follow the instructions and check if you have delicate skin/are allergic by testing a small dab on your arm.

I have read somewhere that during puberty, hair will grow and then after puberty it will grow at a slower rate. I don't think this applies to head hair, but to moustaches, arm hair and belly hair.

I had very thin belly hairs but I still hated them! I shaved them off in middle school to before a pool party! been doing it for 5 years and they never grew back thicker. and they take forever to grow, but this is my personal experience!

I have a little bit of hair near my belly button. I just shave them. They don't grow back thicker and it takes a week for me to see them again. I tried plucking them one time, holy cow I almost died. It hurt soooo bad! But it took like a month for them to grow back!

Shaving can make it stand out even more. Bleaching can do stuff to the skin around it. Waxing actually barely hurts at all, trust me, I'm a sucker for pain to and I don't even mind it!
