So I recently purchased Rimmel's soft kohl eyeliner in white to use on my waterline. I was messing around with eye looks an decided to apply it on my lid as a white base. My shadow turned out splotchy and hard to blend so I won't be trying that again. I am new to blending shadows and don't need it to be harder than it already is. I've had my eye on the nyx jumbo pencil in milk to use as a base. My question is do you guys think I will have the same blending trouble that I did using my white eyeliner? Do you recommend getting the milk pencil? Or should I wait until I am more skilled?

If you are reading this and even if you don't have an answer, please say something so I know it's being seen. I post stuff all the time and get zero responses... Very frustrating.

I honestly prefer a primer base, really love Too Faced primed and pore less for face I have yet to specifically try the eye primer. Urban decay is said to be good. Then I use a light skin toned powder eyeshadow. A good blending brush is really important too. Buy two. One for darks, one for lights. I love Ecotools from ulta. Watch lots of YouTube vids too they are so good at teaching. 💜

Thanks girls! I'm definitely getting the milk pencil. And yes, I have the proper brushes, I just think the rimmel pencil screwed it up. :)

I have milk and it works great. You can use a synthetic brush and swipe it through the tip of the stick and use the brush to apply.

I bought nyx jumbo pencil in milk by fluke for halloween makeup one year. It is now a definite staple in my makeup bag! I use it for the exact purpose, as a white base for shadows. Sometimes I wear it alone as a shadow. and since I'm soooooo bloody pale I also use it as my hi lighter daily. In a pinch I'll even use it to brighten my under eyes. You will not regret purchasing this product!
