Banana peels. Help!!

Has anyone tried the banana peel acne treatment? If so does it work? Don't wanna waste money on bananas to scrape the gunk off of the peel if it won't help my acne..

I tried did it once a day ifor a week and it works but I think my acne was gone on like the fifth day but I did the whole week to be sure.
