Ladies. Help!!
My hair was midnight black, and I grew sick of the color.
I used color oops, it took out most of the black but it was a ginger color, I box dyed it a dark golden brown, it turned black..
I ran to the store and grabbed another color oops, removed that color and a bit of the previous.
so, I used from Sallys, Ion creme oil lightener. it got it to a honey copper blonde brown. it was pretty.
today I tried dying my hair 2x and my roots take the color, but my ends and shaft stay a level lighter.
wth is going on.

You have stripped too much protein from your hair! Go back to Sally's and get a protein filler, leave it on for 20 minutes, then without rinsing apply the hair color you want and process as normal!

Alas! Color oops twice!

Did you apply it to the roots first or the ends? Alexis is right tho, you have over processed your hair and now it is porous , meaning the cuticle is completely open. I would actually do a strengthening treatment first before doing another coloring process. What color were you trying to achieve?

Color cannot lift color and your not supposed to use the color oops more than once so now your hair is damage and you now have over prossed hsir you will have to let your hair rest and then do a two step color one to lighten and one to tone if you color again so soon you could risk major damage to your hair..best advice is to have it professionally corrected to keep from causing more damage box color is not the same as salon color its a lot heavier and it wirks better because they know how to fix the color issues

Coloring really is a skill. I wouldn't do another thing to it. Sounds like something best left to a professional salon. You can only do more damage at this point.

My friend had this problem. STOP playing with your hair because it will seriously fall out. Baking soda and shampoo make a good natural hair stripper, and head and shoulders had chemicals which strip hair dye. My advice is to put up with it for now before you have no idea! My advice comes from seeing my friend go through the same experience and cutting her shoulder length hair into a really short pixie cut x

Thanks for the advice ladies.
I have it at a 7wr medium golden red blonde.
my ends are just a bit lighter and they look like hilights its not too bad.
however I like my hair looking one color.
last night I did do a Aphogee protine treatment and would it be safe to do another coloring process? with the protein filler?

Hi I'm a cosmetologist! Put down the hair dye honey. you are VERY lucky not to be bald at this point. your hair needs TIME to breathe- do conditioning treatments every other week and a few protein treatments but no more than once every other month. see a pro for any further chemical treatments for the next few years. (and I mean years literally- at least 4)

Ok, so how many months until I can see someone professional to dye my hair

If you do any more coloring make sure its a demi or semi permanent color!

I'd recommend to go see a pro as soon as you can. but make sure you give them every bit of your hairs chemical history. youll most likely need a hair cut, but they will also be able to see and feel your hair- they will be able to give you the best answer about when you can have your hair processed again.
