So I'm thinking of dying my hair. I don't know if I should do highlights or just a dip dye? and if so, what color shows up best in brown hair the best? any opinions..?

Try something with your ends because doing stuff to the roots could mess up your hair for a longer time than tips. Remember that the crispy chemical ridden split ends will get to your roots. Probably anyway. Good luck!
