hey gals
first time posting!
so i have natural dark brown hair
but for the last 2+ years i've been dying it BLACK
now it's summer and i wanna brighten it a bit
so i died my hair mahogany brown 3 TIMES already
my roots dyed well since my roots were already showing + i have a little grey hair there too :O
but 7/8 of the length of my hair is still VERY VERY dark
i'm leaving for a vacation in 5 days and wanted to ask if you have any solutions?
i've heard that if you use deep conditioner product, leave it on for hours - the old dye washes
away - is that true?! is it close but not accurate?
HELP!
thanks :D

You'd probably have to bleach it... I've never heard of the deep conditioner thing, but I recently got this shampoo, Alpecin shampoo (just to see if it did work!) and that actually kind of stripped my hair colour! You should check it out. Also, when I dyed my hair crazy colours and I wanted them to fade - washing up liquid! Hope that helped!

I haven't heard the deep conditioner thing...
You can get a color stripper for your hair then redye it after you have washed it out. You can check your local beauty supply stores. Just make sure you follow the directions exactly! Otherwise you can get it done at a salon if it is too much of a hassle! :)
